Makinde wins 31 LGs in Oyo as Folarin clinches 2 Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has won in 31 out of the 33 local government areas in the state The gubernatorial election was held in all 33 local government areas of the state on Saturday. DAILY POST reports that three major candidates contested the election. They included Makinde, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Adebayo Adelabu of Accord. Oyo Guber Race Seyi Makinde is OK

Flash Back a bit!!. In year 2003 during former Late Governor Lam Adesina's government and build up to his 2nd term bid. He was quoted and reported in one of his campaigns to have said that the votes of workers are too infinitesimal and negligible "Perete" to influence the outcome of his re-election in Oyo State. Perhaps Lam was carried away by the large crowd at the campaign ground or rather too impressive by it to have said such a statement. Workers held that against him and resolved to unseat him. Workers joined forces with former Governor Rasidi Ladoja in PDP and voted for his emergence. That was the origin of that song, "Awa osise perete lagbe Ladoja wole o". Meaning negligible workers brought Ladoja to power. Since that time no Governor ever dared or took workers for granted again. Unfortunately workers were divided during former Late Governor Ajimobi and he had his ways for 2nd term but later paid for it when two terms sitting Governor who presided over 33 L.Govts areas lost his Senatorial ambition in just 9 L.Govts in Oyo South. Fortunately again God gave us GSM and he restored the lost glory of workers and pensioners by paying them every 25th of each month. Furthermore he ensured that workers get paid to celebrate commencement of every festival particularly Ramadan and Ileya festivals. Fact check pls. Can workers do it again? Yes is the answer. Do we need GSM for 2nd term? Yes is the answer bcuz Seyi is tested and trusted. Should we be ingrates to GSM for doing good to us? No is the answer. Why are the godfathers politicians against him? We are the reason. GSM refused to sacrifice our entitlement to please the very few self centered politicians. He refused to open Oyo State purse for them to loot like they used to. What should be done? Yes, both workers and pensioners should come out and vote GSM for 2nd term come Saturday. We have a population of over 100,000 as workers and pensioners in Oyo State. With anyone of our children added to our votes will give Seyi about 200,000 votes. I've not seen where any Governor in Oyo State beat his opponents with such a margin to emerge as Governor in Oyo State. Late Ajimobi paid 89b gratuities in 8years but Seyi has paid over 189b gratuities in less than 4years. Fact check from Com. Abatan, NUP State Secretary, Pensioners House Secretariat Agbarigo Ibadan. GSM has granted and indeed promoted workers that were denied by the previous administration 2016 2017 2018 and has extended it to 2019 2021 and 2022. Do we need him to continue? Yes is the answer. Should Oyo State belong to the ruling party at the center to do well? No is the answer. If not why did former Governor Aregbesola of APC Central Government paying half salary then? Why did pensioners of Ondo, Osun and Ogun States all of APC Government lamenting none payment of gratuities and pensions? Even almighty Lagos State has just released 1.2b for the payment of gratuities just last week. Seyi managed Covid-19 properly by refusing to lockdown Oyo State. Don't forget all Oyo State APC Senators and Reps under the coordination of Senator Tessi Folarin were shouting from Abuja on all radios stations in Oyo State particularly the most listening radios of Fresh fm Ayefele, Lagelu, Splash, etc that Governor Seyi should be held responsible and accountable for any loss of lives in Oyo State then. Thanks God they were disappointed bcuz it didn't happen like they wish. We need a manager like Seyi and not buffoon that will accept whatever anybody says hook line and sinker without thorough interrogation. I plead that you come out in your large numbers on Saturday to re-elect Seyi Makinde leekansi. It is a task that must be done by us. May the peace of the Lord Allah be upon each and everyone of us. AMEEN. Com. Adegbola Bayo Rasheed, Retired Principal.

BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS

Gudmoni to all my friends here, this is my encounter with fraudsters and I am here to share it so that u can be very watchful and careful: On the 3rd of May, 2021at about 12pm I got a call form a guy that introduced himself as femi my account officer calling from Ecobank head office in marina, he started asking for some information about my account detailed and I told him I cannot answer any questions on phone unless i come down to the bank to see face to face and all of a sudden he called my bvn digits out for me and I was shocked to hear that but still I did not fall for his tricks then he said well if I cannot give out d information he asked me, that my account will be blocked by Ecobank and I told him pls go ahead and block my account but the phone number u used in calling me will be tracked. He immediately dropped d call. The next day on the 4th of May I went to a Ecobank branch to lodge complain about what happened d previous day and I was shocked to meet about 10 people that had fallen a victim of those fraudsters which the money in their account had been withdrawn by the fraudsters. So I immediately told them at the customers care to block my account which they did. And it was in d bank that I got the information that the fraudsters got all our details from NIN registration we did cos our bvn details are in the form. Ha! Is this not part of insecurity in Nigeria? Our bvn that suppose to be secretive to us had been leaked through bvn registration we did. May God help us in Nigeria. Pls pass it round to save someone's account. Dont give anybody that call u on phone details about your account or bvn or any code. If you have any issue please make out time to visit your bank. God bless u all as u share. ...from a friend

HOW TO BECOME WEALTHY IN LIFE

*LAWS OF FINANCE* There are 2 types of Laws of finance: 1} LAW OF POVERTY. 2} LAW OF WEALTH. *1} LAW OF POVERTY:* This law states that work alone or work under someone and remain poor for the rest of your life. 95% of people in the world are living under this law. The people under this law make use of their credentials, they have ego, they seek for job, they have someone called boss, they receive salary which is fixed amount. *B.O.S.S* B= Building O= On S= Some one S= Success *S.A.L.A.R.Y* S= Something A= Always L= Low A= And R= Reduces Y= You These people are called the working class. They always look for job. *J.O.B* J= Journey O= Of the B= Borrowers *2} LAW OF WEALTH:* This law states that work with a team or group of people and remain wealthy forever, it is just 5% of people in the world that are living under this law. The people under this law make use of their potentials, and they are called the thinking class, they think of what to offer to the society and in turn make money. These people they earn their money which is income and it is not a fixed amount. These people are called the thinking class. _The difference between these laws is that the people under the_ *LAW OF POVERTY* _don't make use of opportunity.. while those under the_ *LAW OF WEALTH* _make use of any opportunity that comes their way. The wealthy ones make use of *ID Number* and also *Partnership,* they have what is called big dreams but the poor don't have._ *REMEMBER THESE TODAY* πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ Money does not respond to qualifications Otherwise the wealthiest people should have been *Ph.D holders.* Money does not respond to age Otherwise the world's oldest twins would have been the *richest.* ‍ It is not about your *degree* It is all about what you do after the *degree.* ‍Have you noticed that the 1st class degree holders are not the *Richest* Neither are the *3rd class degree holders the poorest.* There is more to being wealthy than education. The most important thing is *Mindset* πŸ‘Œ and the next thing is a *Commitment to self DISCIPLINE.*πŸ‘ The only person holding your key to success is *YOU.* The secrets to success is for you to be willing to pay the price but the challenge is that very few are ready and willing to pay the price to succeed. If you must see changes, the person that must change is *You*.πŸ‘Œ
